Lia Sophia Review – Scam Or Legitimate MLM Jewelry Business?
Welcome to my Lia Sophia Review!
Lia Sophia is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company on a mission to make the dreams of everyone associated with Lia Sophia come true.
In this Lia Sophia Review, I will be providing the facts concerning this company and the products that they offer. However, my Lia Sophia Review will be placing a special emphasis on the MLM Business opportunity that they offer as a Lia Sophia Independent Advisor.
Does Lia Sophia offer a legitimate MLM Business opportunity, or should this be considered as a scam or pyramid scheme? This is my unbiased Lia Sophia Review.
Company Details & History
The Lia Sophia story begins with Victor Kiam, a very successful entrepreneur who was at one time the CEO of Remington Products, and also the majority owner of the New England Patriots from 1988-1991. In 1986, Victor Kiam purchased Act II Jewelry, and then changed the name to Lady Remington.
When Victor Kiam passed away in 2001, his son, Tory Kiam assumed the duties of President, and then renamed Lady Remington after his two daughters, Lia and Sophia.
Their Jewelry Product Line
Lia Sophia provides customers with the opportunity to update their wardrobe with the very latest in fashion jewelry at prices that practically anyone can truly afford. The Lia Sophia Catalog features jewelry items related to:
- Bracelets
- Earrings
- Necklaces
- Pendant Slides/Pins
- Rings
Their Catalog also provides customers with access to their Red Carpet Collection, which is featured in leading fashion magazines and worn by celebrities everywhere.
Product Confidence
Every Lia Sophia jewelry piece is backed by their famous Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. If you find any manufacturer’s defect in any jewelry item that you have purchased directly through an Advisor, return it with proof of purchase within 120 days, and you will receive a replacement at no charge. After 120 days, there is a $5 per item handling charge.
Every jewelry item is sold exclusively through their vast network of Lia Sophia Independent Advisors, primarily through Jewelry Shows (Home Parties), transitioning us into my review of the Lia Sophia Home Business opportunity.
MLM Business – Getting started and how it works
The cost to begin your business as a Lia Sophia Independent Advisor is the cost of their Starter Kit.
This kit is $149, and will provide you with many of the items from within the Lia Sophia Catalog, as well as the necessary business supplies to assist you in achieving a fast and successful start in your new venture.
Advisors are also provided with a replicated website. This website will be an additional $9.95 per month.
Compensation – How to earn
Lia Sophia claims to feature one of the highest company-wide Jewelry Show sales averages in the industry, with more than $650 in retail sales generated in every show.
Full earning potential
As an Advisor, you will earn 30% for every jewelry item sold. Based upon company Jewelry Show averages of $650 per show, and your 30% profit, the following is a break down of your earning potential.
- If you conduct 1 show per month, your monthly earnings will be $195.
- If you conduct 2 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $390.
- If you conduct 3 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $585.
- If you conduct 4 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $780.

- If you conduct 6 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $1,170.
- If you conduct 7 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $1,365.
- If you conduct 8 shows per month, your monthly earnings will be $1,560.
Advisor Training & Support
We have already established that the majority of Advisor sales are achieved in a Home Party setting, referred to as Jewelry Shows. You will schedule these Shows in the homes of your family members, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, associates, etc.
Hostess Rewards
Lia Sophia offers a Hostess Rewards Program to reward hostesses who are willing to open their home for a Jewelry Party. Through this program, your hostess will earn substantial jewelry discounts, and even free jewelry credit based upon the sales that are generated by you in their home.
These rewards will act as an incentive for your hostess to invite as many of their friends and family members as possible. The more women who attend to shop for and purchase products, the more they will potentially earn in discounts and free jewelry.
You will offer this incentive as you are contacting your friends and family members to schedule your shows.
Your training as a new Lia Sophia Advisor will be based upon these traditional methods of Network Marketing.
Lia Sophia Review Conclusion
In my opinion, Lia Sophia is a very legitimate MLM Business, and should not be confused as being a scam or pyramid scheme. Lia Sophia is one of the most popular and respected names in the Jewelry Direct Sales industry.
Setting realistic expectations…
However, while sales can be generated through the methods of home parties, your success while utilizing these tactics will be dependent upon your ability to maintain a full schedule of Jewelry Shows.
This can quickly prove to be far more difficult than Lia Sophia advertises if you are limited to scheduling these shows in the homes of your friends and loved ones.
You must also keep in mind that your sales will be limited to the geographical area of where you live, and dependent upon how far you are willing to drive to conduct your Jewelry Shows. It is important to take all of this into consideration while making your business decision.
With that being said, if you possess the personality and the work ethic to consistently generate sales in a home party setting, I believe that Lia Sophia offers a solid business opportunity with quality and highly sought after fashion jewelry.
I hope that you have found my Lia Sophia Review to be informative and educational! I wish you the best of luck in your home business search!
