USANA Review – Scam Or Legitimate MLM Business?

Welcome to my USANA Review!

Is USANA a scam, or do they offer a legitimate MLM Business opportunity?  In this USANA review, I will be reviewing their company and products.

However, more importantly, my focus in this USANA Review will be on the business opportunity that they offer as a USANA Associate.  Does USANA offer the best Home Business opportunity around?  This is my unbiased USANA Review.

As a Multi-level Marketing (MLM) company that opened their doors for operations 1992, USANA is a health and wellness company that has experienced extraordinary growth since their inception.  In fact, in 2008, they reported $429 Million in revenues, and are operating in 14 international markets.

With a duplicable home-based business model, USANA is positioned to continue this level of growth and success.

As an USANA Associate, you and your customers will have access to USANA’s extensive product line with high quality products related to:

• Nutritional Beverages
• Meal Replacements
• Weight Loss & Energy Snacks
• Skin Care
• Hair Products

MLM Business – Getting started and how it works

For a $30 Business Development System, USANA gives you the opportunity to become an USANA Associate.  Enrolling into their monthly Autoship program to receive products on a monthly basis will also be highly encouraged.  This will automatically bill and ship products to your home every month, ensuring that you will have a steady supply of products to have on hand for showcasing and sharing with your potential customers.

Questions that must be asked…

Typically in MLM business models, a minimum Autoship order is required to enjoy the full commission and bonus payouts within a company’s Compensation Plan.  I was unable to confirm if this is indeed the case with USANA.  I would encourage you to get in contact with an Associate directly to learn more about the full requirements and/or limitations within the USANA Compensation Plan.

Building the business

USANA advertises that all it takes to start building a profitable downline organization is the efforts of yourself and 2 other like-minded individuals.  Depending on your ambition and efforts, you can start earning commissions in your very first week, simply by sharing products with others and ordering some for yourself.

Associate Training & Support

USANA will train you to find your two new Associates from within your warm market of friends, family members, and anyone else who you come into contact with on a daily basis.  Once you find your two, you will teach them to recruit two Associates of their own, and so on down the line.  This will be the basis of your new USANA Associate training.

USANA Review Conclusion

In my opinion, USANA is a very legitimate business opportunity, and I don’t believe that they are offering a scam.  They offer very high quality nutritional products, and have produced many highly successful Associates throughout their history.

Food for thought…

While USANA is a legitimate business, your success will be dependent upon your ability to build and train a strong downline of ambitious Associates.  For the majority, this will take time and patience, especially when your training will be limited to the warm marketing methods of prospecting amongst family members, friends, acquaintances, etc.

While you can control your individual efforts of selling, recruiting, and ultimately building your business, you can not control the efforts of your downline members.  If your team members are not doing their part to sell, recruit, and grow their individual businesses, your downline will never grow strong.  This fact alone can cause great frustration for new business builders in this MLM industry.

With that being said, as long as you begin your USANA business with the proper expectations, and are willing to put in the time and effort to build and train a quality downline, I believe that USANA offers a solid business opportunity with great products.
